2009
Stacy is the featured artist at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center Second Friday art reception, January 9, 2009, 5:30-9:00 pm. She will be demonstrating her graphite drawing on marble tiles! See her original art work and the new book she illustrated, The Beautiful Swan.




Stacy's Painting Featured at Welsh Pony and Cob Association Meeting
Stacy's oil painting, titled "Welsh Quartet" (12"x9"), is featured on the 2008 poster of the Welsh Pony and Cob Association of California. It debuted at the 2008 national meeting of the Welsh Pony and Cob Association, held on February 15 through 17 at the Sheraton Hotel in Stockton, California.

Stacy had a solo art exhibit at the Noble Horse Gallery, Seattle, WA (November 1 to December 3, 2007); the event featured 10 of her equine art.

Stacy Maeda's art work, "Shadow Tango," (an oil painting of a Weimaraner dog), was recently selected as a finalist in the Animal Art category of the 23rd Annual Artist's Magazine Art Competition. The finalists will be featured in the December 2006 issue of the magazine.

As a finalist, Stacy and her winning art will be featured as the Artist of the Month on the Artist's Magazine website in February, 2007 (www.artistsmagazine.com).

April 2006

Stacy's oil painting titled "Places to Go, Promises to Keep…" was awarded second place in the oil category of the Horses in Art Magazine Cover Contest. She will receive a half-page ad in the Fall 2006 issue of the magazine. Her recent oil painting titled "Team Effort" will be featured in the ad. Both paintings can be seen in the Horses gallery on this website.
